Why we redesigned the navigation?

At Byggeprojekt.dk, we believe that construction management should be seamless, intuitive, and easy to navigate. Over the years, as we’ve added more tools and features, we realized that our interface needed to evolve to support these growing demands. Inspired by our mission to simplify workflows, we’ve redesigned the project navigation experience to be more streamlined, user-friendly, and adaptable to how you work.

Our vision is simple: make tools that serve you, not the other way around. With feedback from our users and insights from the way modern construction teams work, we’ve built a system that puts everything you need within easy reach—making sure your tools never slow you down.

A smarter global overview

Global navigation: A complete redesign for faster access

The new global navigation replaces the older, cluttered system, offering a clean, streamlined interface. With new tabs for My Projects, Reviews, Tenders, and Company Settings, accessing your key areas is faster and more intuitive.

Why it’s better

Previously, users had to filter through multiple layers to access essential information. Now, with this update, you can jump between tabs in one click, cutting down on time spent navigating.

My projects page: Centralized project control

The My Projects page brings a consolidated view of all your active projects. You can now follow the status, updates, and activity for each project without needing to navigate multiple pages.

In the old system, tracking project status across various screens was inconvenient. Now, it’s all unified in one space—giving you an instant access to your work.

New project-specific navigation

Once inside a project, Project Navigation gives you access to everything that matters. Whether it’s reviewing files or managing tenders, you can easily navigate through different modules without getting lost. All project-specific tools and settings are now in one place.

Before, navigating inside a project was a bit of a guessing game, requiring multiple clicks and too many steps. Now, it's seamless: jump between modules and manage project settings with fewer clicks.

Enhanced folder actions

Folder actions: Manage folders with a refined, user-friendly interface

We’ve improved the folder management to make actions like creating, moving, renaming, and deleting folders easier and faster. A cleaner UI ensures consistency and simplifies collaboration.

The new enhancements reduce friction, save time, and make it easier to organize and collaborate on projects. The improved UI ensures that folder-related tasks are clear, efficient, and aligned with user experience.

Customizable project metafields

Project metafields: Tailor your projects with flexible fields

Custom metafields let you define and manage project-specific data. Fields like text, numbers, and lists can now be used to organise and filter projects. Bulk actions and data export make updates and reporting simpler.

More flexibility, better filtering, and easier updates for managing project data.

Advanced filters: Use meta fields to organise and save views.

Simpler user management

Project users page: Manage project users with ease

The Project Users page provides a clear, organized way to see everyone involved in your project. Easily invite, edit, or remove users, assign roles, and adjust permissions—all in one space. Now, the windows for Tender Administrator and Review Administrator are merged into this page as well, simplifying team management across all modules.

What’s improved

Previously, managing team roles and permissions involved too many steps and was difficult to track. Now, you can handle everything from one page, making team management much faster and more efficient.

Unified Administration: Control both Tender and Review Administrator roles.

The Project Settings page allows you to control all aspects of your project in a single view. From editing project details to user management, everything is centralized, ensuring that no element of your project is more than a few clicks away.

The old design scattered project settings across various pages. Now, everything is accessible in one place, simplifying how you manage each project.

Simplified management: Make changes with minimal clicks.

Duplicate projects with just a few clicks!

You can now quickly and easily copy existing projects with our new “Duplicate Project” feature!

Save time: Setting up new projects is now just a few clicks away.
Keep the structure: Choose which data to copy.
Fast startup: Receive an email when the copy is ready.
