With a simple directory structure in the project web, Ingcon has gained an overview and efficient management of its many construction projects
“We have chosen to use Byggeprojekt as our Projectweb because the solution is so simple and intuitive. A similar provider had many features that we felt we didn't need,” says Anders Bidstrup, partner at Ingcon.
” Byggeprojekt's Projectweb supports many important functions for construction, including 3D model, PDF and image viewer. The contents of files can be searched, and it is easy to right-click when you want to use the various functions.
It is also simple to search by date and find previous versions, version sets or document list for contract basis. And opt for time-limited file sharing with external users”.
“One of the clear advantages for us is at the start of a project, where we have created our own directory structure in the projectweb, which is reused from project to project. We cooperate with FB Gruppen, among others, and have a lot of projects. They can be with the same users, groups and rights as on previous builds - and now it's simple to start and open a new project. We can be ready in just a few hours and there is minimal administration and hassle.”
Among the new current cases that Ingcon is managing with the digital platform from Byggeprojekt are the urban development projects Holbæk Have and the Nærheden i Hedehusene. Both in collaboration with FB Gruppen.
Holbæk Have is a new urban area in Holbæk, where 1,000 dwellings will be built over a number of years, and the first phase includes the construction of approximately 33,000 floor meters. The pension company PKA, which among other things is a pension fund for nurses, is in the picture as an investor in part of the project's residential rental properties.
In the eastern part of the area Nærheden in Hedehusene, approximately 160,000 square metres of residential development is under way. This is done for the urban development company NærHeden P/S, which is owned by Høje-Taastrup Municipality and Realdania By & Byg. Overall, this district will come to include approximately 3,000 homes.
“Urban development is an attractive task for us. We like to work with projects from the 'bare field' or after the demolition of, among other industries,” says Anders Bidstrup. An example is Grønttorvet in Valby with the development and construction of more than 2,700 homes that will be completed in 2022.
With its 265,000 m2, Grønttorvet will become Copenhagen's greenest district — housing, children's institutions, commercial premises, a park and a dining hall. Byggeprojekt is used to manage the 23 construction fields, most of which are already ready today.
“In the Projectweb we have a 'maturation folder' with everything in general — and then there are project folders for each individual construction. Our subcontractors know the system and, among other things, use the access from their mobile. It works well with the Byggeprojekt app.
We make framework agreements with all suppliers and contractors, and that makes everything easier. We can quickly invite all the relevant actors — the engineers, architects, geotechnicians, environmentalists, craftsmen and foremen, construction managers. Everything is just really easy and can only be recommended”, says Anders Bidstrup.
